Quick entry... today is my four year anniversary on Deviantart! Hurray!!

hmm alright been waaaay too long since this has been updated! I have recently gotten a Nikon D100 which I have been having a lot of fun with it and doing lots of experimenting. I have recently had a lot of fun with it at night and trying long exposure shots with lights, so watch out as many new photos may be getting put up! I love the doors that have opened up and easier experimentation with the digital. Still so many things to figure out about it!!
Studying Visual Arts this year which is really awesome, its a very fun faculty and learning a lot. Wish I was in a photo class this term though.. oh well, just gotta wait till next year.

its hard to believe that two months of university have gone by already! Ahhhhhh....
Growing up sucks sometimes, it means you have to try and become more responsible. But im on reading break and that makes me happy. classes start again on thursday, so i still have two and half more days off! hurray! And hopefully it'll give me time to catch up on some art, i feel like I need to do some more... my art supplies are feeling a little neglected.

So today was the last day of high school FOREVER! It was so saddening. I am going to miss my friends and teachers and the school in general next year! It's going to be so weird without all that security that ive gotten to know over the past 4 years.

And in september then its onto UVic. and that will be super exciting, and at the same time so different!

anyways, its almost summer and that is exciting too.

spring break has almost ended and that makes me very sad. although it has definately been an action packed and fun-filled spring break. First weekend went skiing with my parents and friends, which was very fun. Then went over to Vancouver for a couple days and did touristy things, which was really fun because i have never really explored down-town Vancouver before. Saw the Art Gallery, which I've never seen before where they had some awesome exhibitions. Thursday and Friday, i got my room painted and it looks FANTASTIC and it is now red. hehee... its wonderful. i love it. aaaand i have been doing tons of bio homework to try and get caught up for when school starts again. and then also all the applying for scholarships... I've pretty much been on the go all spring break and not had much time to do things for myself. Soon i hope to get some more art done as Jessa set me up with some supplies when i went to van. soo yes. I hope for those of you that had Spring break that you had a good time!
